It is with deep disappointment and with a broken heart that I must announce that we will not be able to continue forward with holding the inaugural Show-Me Showdown indoor tournament in 2021.
With new health advisory guidelines handed down in the last 24 - 48 hours along with a recent health risk categorization, despite continued support from our local community and county health department for nearly 2 months, we are in a situation that makes it impossible to hold this event.
The archery community is an amazing group of people. For an inaugural tournament announced just 30 days in advance, the industry support and archer participation has exceeded our expectations. A huge thanks to those who sacrificed their time to, at an amazing pace, get the word out and pull all the many requirements together that are needed to present a well organized tournament. Specifically, thanks to Morrell Targets for their efforts in producing 50 target butts for us with such short notice. Also, a huge thank you to the NFAA and their willingness to fast track and sanction the Show-Me Showdown tournament.
Note that all registration fees will be fully refunded to all registered archers by the end of the day, Tuesday, January 26th.
Since our start in July of 2018, Creed Archery Supply has had a dream of hosting a national stop for indoor archery. Even in spite of this unfortunate obstacle for this year, we'll continue to drive towards achieving that goal in the future.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions of my life, and has been made with great reservation and reluctance.
Thank you for your support and understanding in this difficult measure.
